Privacy at Bayan Asks

What we store on this device

The sky-library preview saves an optional reader nickname, favorite books, last page read, reading completion and educational game completion in browser local storage. Saved offline books are stored in the browser's Cache Storage through a service worker. This information is not sent to our own account database or synchronized between devices. Clearing browser data may erase it, including saved offline pages.

What we don't ask children to provide

The reading library does not ask for a child's email address, birthday, real name, location or photograph. It has no child sign-in, online chat, advertising or behavioural analytics. A nickname can be made up and is optional.

Other technologies

Google Fonts provides our web fonts. Netlify hosts the website and can process standard technical/security access logs. We do not use advertising cookies. Our service worker caches website resources and explicitly downloaded story pages to make reading possible offline.

Children's accounts and admin tools

Parent-managed accounts and cross-device synchronization have not launched. Before introducing those services, we will publish updated privacy and retention information, apply appropriate child privacy protections and parental controls, and clarify contact and deletion procedures.

Until an official support contact is published, please avoid sending children's personal information through website forms or unrelated contact channels.
